Role overview
As a Territory Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the healthcare industry by focusing on respiratory therapy and intake coordination. Your primary responsibility will be to support our sales efforts while ensuring exceptional patient care. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Texas City, United States.
Work collaboratively with office staff to ensure prompt and accurate billing and documentation of services, adhering to third-party payor guidelines for coverage.
Exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills while adhering to cost-containment policies and procedures.
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets, projecting the number of contacts to be made.
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
Coordinate with company staff to accomplish necessary work to close sales.
Work with clinical, managerial, and sales staff to market home respiratory therapist services to all referral sources.
Ensure proper, accurate, and safe operation of all equipment prior to installation.
Meet sales quotas of five (5) vent uploads and one (1) vest upload per month.
Provide availability for patient contact and respond to patient questions and/or needs.
Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in patient care coordination, sales strategies related to healthcare, and respiratory therapy preferred.
Must-Have Skills: Patient Care Coordination, Sales Strategies, Effective Communication, Customer Relationship Management, Technical Proficiency in Medical Equipment.
