This page documents how job candidates opt in to receive text messages from Upfound AI, what those messages contain, and how to stop them. It is published for candidates and for messaging compliance review. No account or login is required to view it.
1. Who sends these messages
Upfound AI is an AI hiring platform owned and operated by Prodeo Ventures LLP, the business registered for this messaging program. Prodeo Ventures LLP owns the sending number and is the sole sender of these messages. Employers use Upfound AI to invite candidates to interviews; an employer’s name appears in a message only so the candidate can recognise which application it concerns. Employers do not send messages from this number and have no access to it. Every message identifies Upfound AI by name.
2. How candidates opt in
Candidates opt in on the Upfound AI job application form, hosted on this website at upfound.ai/jobs/{job-id}/apply and on employer-branded careers pages at upfound.ai/company/{company}/jobs/{job-id}/apply.
After verifying their email address, the candidate reaches the details step of the application. There they enter or confirm their mobile number and may tick a separate, unchecked checkbox to consent to SMS. The exact wording is reproduced below.

3. Consent properties
- The checkbox is never pre-selected. It starts unchecked on every application, including when the phone number was pre-filled from the candidate's resume.
- It is separate from the checkbox accepting the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Consent to SMS is not bundled into any other agreement.
- It is optional. The application can be submitted without it, and candidates who do not opt in receive the identical interview invitation by email instead.
- Consent is never inferred from a phone number appearing on an uploaded resume, from a recruiter importing a contact, or from any third-party or purchased list.
- Upfound AI records the phone number, the consent timestamp, the page the consent was given on, and the disclosure version shown at that moment.
4. What we send
Messages are transactional and specific to an interview the candidate has been invited to. Consent covers the interview invitation itself — one message per interview a candidate is invited to. We send no marketing, no promotional offers, no reminders, no recruiter outreach, and no third-party content.

The link in each message is a secure, single-candidate URL on Upfound AI's own domain. We do not use public link shorteners. Opening the link and tapping Start Interview is what triggers the AI interview call to the candidate — the candidate is never charged and never has to dial a number.
5. How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. We also honour OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE and STOPALL. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.
Reply HELP or INFO for support information, or email contact@upfound.ai. Opting out of SMS does not withdraw your job application and does not affect your candidacy — your interview invitation and all other updates continue by email.

6. Privacy
SMS consent, mobile opt-in information, and phone numbers collected for SMS messaging are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
